Reduce, reuse, recycle to make production more reliable
We support you in deploying solutions designed to limit and optimise water consumption, as part of a water-efficient plant approach. Our "3R" approach (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) includes reducing consumption through equipment developed, from the design phase, to operate at low volumes, and to provide for the reuse of process water in a short loop and the recycling of water leaving the WWTP in a long loop, for alternative uses - washing, utilities, for example.
Optimising product consumption, reducing water extraction
Limiting industrial water consumption means being able to operate with smaller volumes without impacting performance. Today, formulated products make it possible to concentrate active agents in process water to maintain industrial performance with lower volumes, by working on the physico-chemical qualities of the water (pollution and suspended substances, pH, COD, etc.). The benefit is twofold: lower volumes also mean lower energy consumption.
Optimising the water cycle, reusing and recycling industrial water
Optimising the water cycle to generate savings in industrial water and waste is another area for action. Disinfection, filtration, ultrafiltration, softening, decarbonation or osmosis solutions can be used to treat water for reuse elsewhere in the process or in utilities. The result: substantial savings in terms of effluent, water and salt.
